The Full Story

In 'Boy Meets Curl', Homer and Marge accidentally join Springfield's Olympic curling team and, against all probability, win gold at the Winter Games as a completely ordinary middle-aged married couple — defeating Sweden in the final. At the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, the US Men's Curling team — rank underdogs — defeated Sweden 10–7 in the gold medal match to win America's first-ever Olympic curling gold. Homer had called it eight years earlier.
