In 'Lisa Goes Gaga', Lady Gaga arrives in Springfield suspended on a wire from her private train, performing aerial acrobatics in a glittering costume above an adoring crowd — halftime-spectacle staging treated as her default mode of travel. At Super Bowl LI in February 2017, Gaga descended from the NRG Stadium roof on cables in near-identical fashion before her performance. The Simpsons filed that entrance five years early.
